Commitment

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

Something I have been wanting to do for a long while is to do a photo blog every day for a month. That is a lot harder than it seems when you don’t have internet at home, not to mention are consistently very busy. Sooooo instead of doing a photo blog EVERY day I am committing to instead doing a POLAROID photo blog every other day (that means I have to do a lot of scanning).

So to start off this commitment, I am posting some pictures of my most recent commitment!

600 Film on SX-70

We had two photographers at the wedding, both friends (Wayde Stover and Dana Halferty). Wayde was running all-instant film with 3 cameras and an assistant film-peel-aparter, Scott. Mmmm goodness. These are just a few from the many, many of Polaroids.

More pictures to come! (don’t forget, subscribe to the blog if that’s your style)

Just got the proof for “500 Days”. It’s amazing, plain simple!

Busy Busy

Monday, June 22nd, 2009

The past week has been hectic to say the least. Like I posted before, I was down in Dallas, TX editing for a documentary with Miguel.

Basically we pulled an all nighter, and I almost missed my flight. Thankfully there were no lines, so getting there 20 minute before my flight LEFT was ok.

Landed in Minneapolis for Mid West Regionals. The big event at MWR was Dazzling Dave’s Guinness Record of knocking coins off of people’s ears.

As always, judging yo-yo contests is a thankless job. Matt, Pat and Dave took on the challenge; thanks guys.

Highlights of the contest where Ray’s and Chris‘ freestyles.

And as always, Minneapolis is always made more fun when I get to hang out with some of my closest friends, John Bot and Abe.

The Rest of our Trip

Monday, June 1st, 2009

Instead of writing 10,000 words, I decided to just show so pictorial highlights of our last days in San Francisco, our spur of the moment trip to LA with Bride, and our vistas of the Grand Canyon…

FlameBurger!

Wednesday, April 15th, 2009

Welcome to a Hilltop icon: Flameburger. Hilltop is a suburb 15 minutes north of downtown Minneapolis. We always make it a must stop because of a huge thrift store and John-Bot.

Open 24 hours a day, Flameburger is a much better late night dive than the White Castle down the road. Hilltop can be kind of a shady place, as you can tell by the sign that hangs on the front door.

Flameburger’s claim to fame is the “Double Mega FlameBurger”. It’s 4 HUGE patties with TONS of bacon and way to much cheese. If you eat it all you get a dope sticker and your picture on the wall. John-Bot is among them.
